Managing Market Segments

Each account created in VenueOps is required to have a market segment assigned. This article will walk you through updating the market segments that are available to be set.

  1. Click your name in the upper-left.
  2. Click System Admin.
  3. Click list Misc on the left.
  4. Click Market Segments.
  5. Click the blue-circled edit edit icon to open the Edit Market Segments slider.
  6. In the slider, you can:
    • Click a name field to update a market segment's name.
    • Click + Add Market Segment to add a new market segment.
    • Click the delete remove icon next to a market segment to remove it.
      If you remove a market segment, any accounts with that market segment will still have it. You are able to filter by the removed market segment on the accounts pages to find those accounts and update them, if needed.
  7. When you are done updating your market segments, click Save.
