Manage Function Types

System role needed: System Admin

You are able to add a type to your functions. Similar to event types, they can be shown on the calendar, used to filter list views and reports, and more. Types could include performance, load-in, open to the public, etc. You can set default information by function type. Because they are custom to your account, you can use them how they best fit your venue.

This article will walk you through:

  1. Click your name in the upper-left corner.
  2. Click System Admin.
  3. In the admin section, click event Events on the left.
  4. Click Function Types.

Adding Function Types

  1. Click the + add icon to open the Add Function Type slider.
  2. In the slider:
    • Type a name for the function type (required). You will be warned if you enter a duplicate of a function type that already exists.
    • Add default information for the function type. This information will be copied into the function when you select this function type.
      • Type a room setup.
      • Select Show on Calendar if you want functions of this type to be shown on the calendar. Event-wide functions are not shown on the calendar.
      • Select Performance if you want to turn on the Live Entertainment features for this function type. Please see Performances for more information.
  3. Click Save.

Edit Function Types

  1. Click a function type to open the Edit Function Type slider.
  2. In the slider, update the function type information.
  3. Click Save.

Remove Function Types

Removing a function type will remove that type from all functions. Those functions will not have a type until they are updated.
  1. Click a function type to open the Edit Function Type slider.
  2. In the slider, click Remove.
  3. Confirm the alert to finish removing the function type.
